This guide will run you through how you can utilize google clouds windows server and get a free server which will allow you to run on demand and will help if you are a mac user.
Step 1:
Go to https://console.cloud.google.com/, Agree to the Terms of Service and continue.
Step 2:
Press “Activate”, If the promotion is not there access it by going to:
https://console.cloud.google.com/freetrial/signup/tos
Step 3:
Go through the steps of inputting your address (make sure to use personal under account type), once you do this put in a card in which is disposable of some sort to ensure you do not get any charges if your trial runs out. I personally use a disposable revolut card. You will then be successfully signed up for your trial with $300 free credit.
Step 4:
Simply press activate and refresh the page, now you just have to wait until your Compute Engine is ready. It will show the page below for a few minutes.
Step 5:
Once the “Create” button is available press it and follow these steps.
Region - Doesn’t matter.
Boot Disk (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT)
Press “Change”, Select operating system and then select “Windows Server” at the bottom. Once you have done this select the “Version” tab, and find “Windows Server 2026 Datacenter” as pictured below.
Once you have selected this you can now continue. Press select at the bottom of the screen. You will now want to change the Machine Configuration.
Keep the Series as N1 and simply change the “Machine Type” to n1-standard-2 which will help the bot run much smoother. Once you have done this you can now create the server by pressing “Create” at the bottom of the page. Leave it 2-3 mins to create before trying to login or connect.
Step 6:
Once you see the green tick next to “instance-1” or whatever you called your server you can click on it. Press the dropdown next to “RDP” and select “Download the RDP File”
Once you have downloaded the servers file you will then want to “Set Windows password” which can be achieved by pressing the button and then pressing “Set” on the pop up box. Once your password is set simply open the Server file you downloaded, Copy the password shown in the pop up and connect to the server. Let the server load, this can take a while however once it is done you are finally set up and ready to move onto Step 7 which is setting up the server to allow Prime Raffles to run without interference.
Step 7:
When the Server Manager Loads (Give it a min or two) you will want to do the following to ensure Prime Raffles runs smoothly.
On the left hand side select “Local Server”. Under properties we will be changing 3 selections.
Firstly we will be turning OFF the Windows Firewall, Simply click on “Public: On”, wait for the pop up to load and press the following:
You can now press OK, Move onto the Windows Defender, Press the “Real-Time Protection: On” button, you will then want to unselect every “On” selection on this page so it looks like the image below.
You can now close out of this and proceed to the final step of setting the server up.
Once all of this is done you can now press ok and exit out of the server manager.
Now you are able to download and run Prime Raffles on the server without any problems or blocks from windows anti virus.
